How does it work?
Counselling and psychotherapy helps you to learn about yourself in relation to another person the therapist, who will help guide you to explore and share your concerns in order to gain new mindful insights and knowledge about yourself. We can help with womens’ and mens’ health issues that may be troubling and causing stress as well as relationship challenges for couples in therapy.
We at ATIC use a non-judgmental approach, we may offer you a different perspective on a certain situation, aiding your ability to be successful in life, at work and in relationships. Approaches offered include verbal psychotherapy and counselling, expressive/creative art therapy and therapeutic workshops depending on the presenting challenges and the person’s preference. Approaches include Psycho-dynamic, CBT, mindfulness, short term (solution focused) therapy and crisis intervention work, while informed by cognitive neuroscience. This enables individuals and groups to take a look at how they function through a fresh and creative problem solving perspective.
We aim to help people to alleviate their stress, improve their communication and confidence and improve self-esteem. Leading to more successful and fulfilling relationships at work and at home. To promote healthy mental wellness for women and men.
The counselling and psychotherapy sessions are strictly confidential. The number of sessions needed can vary from one session to multiple sessions depending on the individual. ATIC has individual therapy rooms for adults, couples and families, group therapy and open studio space, and specifically tailored children’s therapy rooms.
