Online psychotherapy can take place via video, phone, live chat, or email. Online therapy is highly secure and confidential. The main change is how the psychotherapy is delivered, which then causes some changes in the therapeutic aspect, which will be addressed as follows.
- Via video, phone and chat we meet in real time in a scheduled session once a week, or as determined according to the treatment plan.
- Via email we exchange emails usually once a week around the same day each week.
Online psychotherapy is supported by creative tools that can include art making, use of metaphors and other psychotherapeutic techniques. Art making can be done live during the sessions or in between sessions.
