Cognitive Assessments
Cognitive/Intellectual assessment is unlike a school examination. Cognition/Intelligence is a complex and much larger concept than can be assessed and documented through one method of intelligence testing. The child assessments consists of a process of engaging activities that provides a broad sampling of his or her thinking abilities.

Academic Achievements
When there are question surrounding why your child is not performing as well as they should academically, there is a need for achievement testing.
These child assessments will assess your child’s academic potential/Intelligence testing, and in addition includes achievement tests to assess and understand the child’s level of reading, writing, spelling, and ability to do maths.

The Educational Diagnostic Art(s) Therapy Assessment (Ed. DATA©). This assessment provides a comprehensive cognitive and emotional evaluation. Using ATIC’s neuroscience approach to identify strengths and weaknesses of a child in relation to their academic potential.
This screening assessment aims to enhance the child’s learning potential and aid parents/caregivers, teachers, in developing the child’s strengths and potential to learn. The aim is to provide early intervention as prevention, to limit the potential of a child falling behind academically and to evaluate their strengths that can be harnessed in order to reach their fullest academic potential. These child assessments combine both academic achievement testing and an emotional evaluation, assessing your child’s ability to cope with the pressures of school.
ATIC’s therapists will provide a comprehensive report and will give recommendations on how to better help your child cope with the school demands.
Diagnostic Assessment
The Diagnostic Assessment is designed to specifically tailor assessments in an attempt to answer questions or concerns you may have about your child. There may be some observable concerns but it is difficult to fully comprehend what is happening.
An initial consultation would be required so that ATIC’s therapists would guide you based on their observations, and collected information on what assessment suits the needs of your child. Diagnostic assessment helps to identify problem areas and diagnose your child based on international criteria.
Autism Awareness
ATIC uses a variety of assessment tools to diagnose Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
ATIC’s psychotherapists are specialized in the expressive arts therapies which has the ability to assess children who are lacking in verbal communication and comprehension. Neuropsychological Assessment
Head injury can lead to many problems in executive functioning for a child later on in life, especially if not identified at an early age.
