COUPLES
Couples Psychotherapy, incorporating Art Psychotherapies, provides a space in which both parties can express themselves in a constructive and safe way, with the therapist acting as a mediator when necessary. Couples therapy is not something that need only be taken once a specific problem arises, but can be taken as a preventative and help strengthen an already strong relationship. Couples therapy is not exclusively for individuals in a relationship but can also extend to work colleagues or friends.

SUPERVISION
Our senior therapists and registered supervisors offer individual and group supervision to trainees and qualified psychotherapists, arts therapists, school counsellor’s, social workers, educators and psychologists. Our consultations and clinical supervision sessions can be face to face or online.

As a relatively new development in mental health resolution, online therapy, also known as e-therapy, e-counseling, teletherapy or cyber-counseling, is a platform that is designed to provide psychological advice and support over the internet.
Being a highly secure and confidential platform, the successful flow of online therapy greatly depends on how the psychotherapy is delivered. At ATIC, we pride in our systematic approach to achieving the much-needed result when you want to consider an online therapy in Dubai and beyond.
How do we engage?
Our Online psychotherapy can take place via video, phone, live chat, or email.
- Via video, phone, and chat we meet in real time in a scheduled session once a week, or as determined according to the treatment plan.
- Via email, we exchange emails usually once a week around the same day each week.
At ATIC, Online psychotherapy is supported by creative tools that can include art making, use of metaphors and other psychotherapeutic techniques. Art making can be done live during the sessions or in between sessions.
Who may benefit?
Online psychotherapy can benefit individuals of all ages and backgrounds and can be private or delivered in a group format. It is particularly beneficial for people who have difficulties attending sessions due to physical limitations or who live in distant areas without easy access to our offices. It also adds a layer of anonymity.
Online therapy may not be suitable for people experiencing serious distress, crisis or that need immediate support. Online therapy cannot provide assessment or evaluation information.
